Over a week ago I got off the nicotine patch. The first four days were hell. Since then has been only sporadic hell with right now being a deep pit in Hades. Sweet Jesus I am so tense I need a massage complete with happy ending to get through this. To those thinking of picking up some form of nicotine I say this: You do that and you run the risk of creating a lifelong hunger same way a rich man who's lost it all hungers for wealth more than the poor. Don't touch the stuff and you'll forever be blissfully ignorant of the sweet joys of nicotine.
